Energy Regulation Board has announced the new fuel prices effective Monday midnight.
ERB Board Chairperson Raymond Mpundu says consumers will from midnight (today) start paying more for fuel following the Energy Regulation Board’s decision to increase the fuel pump price of Petrol from K12.97 to K13.97 per litre.
Mr Mpundu says the pump price for other petroleum products include; diesel K 11.09 to K12.01, Kerosene K7.82 to K8.85.
In a statement made available to WestMac Media, Mr Mpundu said the increase in international oil prices and the depreciation of the Kwacha against the United States Dollar is the reason for the
adjustment.
He pointed that ERB will continue working with other stakeholders to ensure price stability of fuel.
