Floods hit Mtendere houses | WestMac Media

Mtendere Ward 30 Councilor Watson Mtonga has called on government through the Disaster Management Mitigation Unit (DMMU) to quickly respond to the flood disaster that has hit many houses in his ward. 

Mr Mtonga says there is need for a lasting solution to the prevailing problem. 

Meanwhile, residents of Mtendere in Lusaka have bemoaned floods in their homes. 

And they have since appealed for urgent government action in providing a permanent solution to the problem.
