The books branded with President Edgar Lungu’s portrait that are being distributed to pupils by Central Province Permanent Secretary Chanda Kabwe have divided public opinions.
Some section of society suggests that it was not necessary to brand the books with the Head of State portrait.
Others says such books should only be distributed to pupils during campaigns.
And Katuba Member of Parliament Patricia Mwashingwele asked a question in parliament in which she who wanted to know if Central PS was in order to be distributing branded books.
In response, Vice President Inonge Wina defended and justified the distribution of branded books.
Ms. Wina reiterated that the distribution of the books was a continuous process.
