The Pauline Long Entrepreneurship Foundation in conjunction with the Cherise Makubale Foundation has donated 20 desks to Misisi Community School.
Misisi Community School has over 250 children and serves as the main school in the area since Government schools are far away.
Cherise Makubale Foundation, Founding Director, Cherise Makubale says the school needs so much more help and is desperate in need of rehabilitation including more desks, books, a wall fence, toilets etc.
Ms Makubale has since appealed to well-wishers to support this and donate towards the cause. Click here to donate.
“Each desk costs K500 or about £40.
“Children deserve a safe clean place to learn and thanks to Dr Pauline Long for supporting this grass root project, as a result some pupils will not be sitting on the floor,” she says.
