The Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) is a statutory
body under the Ministry of Higher Education established
under the Zambia Qualifications Authority Act Number 13 of
2011. Authority is established to develop and implement the
national qualification framework for Zambia and provide for
the development and implementation of measures to
ensure that standards and registered qualifications are
internationally comparable.
The Zambia Qualifications
Framework (ZQF) has been developed and is now being
implemented.
In the implementation of the ZQF, the Authority undertakes
registration and accreditation of qualifications. This process
requires engagement of subject matter experts drawn from
both academia and industry to enhance the integrity as well
as drive the quality of the process.
The subject matter
experts will serve as team members of evaluation panels
that will be engaged to evaluate qualifications for possible
accreditation on to the Zambia
Qualifications Framework.
The Authority now wishes to invite subject matter experts
from both Academia and Industry to submit detailed
Curriculum Vitae (CVs) for consideration and possible
placement on the Authorities database of experts as follows:
Type of activity: Registration and Accreditation of Qualifications.
Minimum Level of Qualification: Bachelors’ Degree (Level 7).
Areas of Specialization: Open to all fields.
Mode of submission: Soft copies of CVs emailed to info@zaqa.gov.zm or hard copies mailed or deposited at
ZAQA offices.
Closing date: 26th March 2018.
