The Ministry of Lands has maintained that it will soon start
withdrawing offer letters given to people who have failed to
pay consideration fees within 90 days.
Minister of Lands Jean Kapata says the ministry gave out
35,000 offer letters for plots, but the applicants have not
honoured by paying the consideration fees which are
supposed to be settled within 90 days.
She says the offer letters will be re-claimed and given to
other citizens who are able to pay.
Ms. Kapata told ZNBC news that the Ministry of Lands
will advertise in the print media the repossession of the
offer letters.
She has advised those in possession of the letters to
immediately pay consideration fees or risk losing out.
