Iris says she does not respond when compromised stories about her are published in the Post nevertheless, enough is enough.
“I normally take the high road and don’t say anything when it comes to these matters but enough is enough,” says Iris.
Adding that “granted my father is a political figure but in civilized political systems, the children of the politicians are kept out of the headlines for ethical reasons.”
She stresses that no media is warranted to have unlimited access into her life.
“Where are the ethics in journalism
today? My past mistakes do not warrant the post or any newspaper or internet blog unlimited access into my life,” she stresses.
Iris says posting up pictures of her with compromised stories is a political ploy.
“My dad is an extremely good politician and an even better father to try and discredit his hard work and what he can do
for the nation by posting up pictures of me with compromised stories is a political ploy,” she says.
Meanwhile her father Dr Michael Kaingu, the education minister in an interview with the Post newspaper said it is difficult to
control children once they leave home.
Commenting on latest pictures that have gone viral on social media showing his daughter, Iris, grooving in a UK nightclub,
where she attracted the attention of patrons, Kaingu said the former ZCAS student was now an adult who could make her own choices.
“You know children…even you when you met your husband, were your parents there? So children, you can only control
them when they are still in your home. In any case, Iris is now an adult. If she is going to make her life on whatever
she wants, I am sure she knows what she’s doing,” he said.
Dr Kaingu said as far as he was concerned, Iris was in the United Kingdom for studies.
Recently, Iris caused social media controversy after she posted photos of herself in bikinis at a beach in Dubai.
