Ministry of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education spokesperson Hillary Chipango said in an interview yesterday that 1,800 applications were received instead of over 2,000, which were expected.
Mr Chipango confirms that from the 1,800 applicants, 1,732 were successful and have been given bursaries while 68 were not successful, adding that sixty-eight applicants were unsuccessful because they are not school-leavers.
