Teenagers from Isaac Newton Academy in Ilford have invented the ‘Smart’ Condom called S.T.EYE that is able to change colour when it detects sexually transmitted
infections/diseases (STIs/STDs).
It turns to Green for Chlamydia, Yellow for Herpes or Blue for Syphilis - so far!
It is unclear though whether the ST.EYE detects the wearer’s STI’s or the recipient's.
The ST.EYE was invented by 14-year-old Daanyaal Ali, 13-year-old Muaz Nawaz and 14-year-old Chirag Shah and is still at concept stage and not yet in
production.
