A renowned African entrepreneur, Tony O. Elumelu, the Chairman of United Bank of Africa (UBA) and Founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) was in Zambia on Thursday for a few hours business visit.
During his visit, he met some UBA customers and Zambia's prominent business executives at a cocktail party held at Taji Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka organized by UBA Zambia team.
While in Lusaka, Mr Elumelu caught up with Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) Selection
Committee member, Monica Musonda.
Despite being in Zambia only for few hours, his visit was fruitful and full of business appointments.
He also met TEEP entrepreneurs in Zambia and shared his entrepreneurial experience with them.
TEEP is a programme which operates with the belief that entrepreneurship and business skills are teachable and learnable.
Mr Elumelu said he was glad to have finally meet with the TEEP entrepreneurs in Zambia.
“We were so glad to finally meet with the TEEP entrepreneurs in Zambia. Experiences were shared and in one voice, the Mentoring & Learning Programme was qualified as really helpful to their businesses. We can’t wait to see you all in
