Lusaka couple weds in hospital

Suzyo Muzuri, 28, of Lusaka who was two weeks ago involved in a road accident and lost one leg before his wedding has duly married Diniwe Bowa, 27. 

A colorful wedding ceremony for the dual took place in Ward 11 at University Teaching Hospital (UTH). 

On saturday Suzyo Muzuri and Diniwe Bowa were pronounced husband and wife in his hospital bed at the UTH against all odds. 

A church service was conducted by Bethel Christian Center Bishop Andrew Mwenda. 

The wedding ceremony was attended by a fairly group of people that included family members and friends who witnessed the two exchange their marriage vows.

Mrs Bowa, the mother to the bride has since thanked all people who made it possible for her daughters wedding to take place despite a lot of challenges beyond their control. 

The Bride, Diniwe said in all this, she just thank God for preserving her husband's life. 

“In all this, I just want to say thank you God for preserving my husband's life for me” she said adding that all the criticism and negative comments have absolutely have no impact on her, “ It is well with us. We just couldn't let the devil steal our Joy. He is a liar and forever will be. Thank you guys for the love. Our God is able...nothing is ever impossible for Him,” said Diniwe.
