Controversial musician Chama Fumba aka Pilato on Monday held discussions with US Ambassador to Zambia Eric Schultz and discussed the important right of freedom of expression.
Pilato, 31 who is charged with one count of conduct likely to cause the breach of peace after he released a song titled A lungu Anabwera is tomorrow expected in court as trial commences.
He was detained on June 8 and later on charged with conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace.
In a song that has gone viral, Pilato satirically talks about how President Edgar Chagwa Lungu is fast abandoning the
ideals of his predecessor, Michael Sata, after winning the January 20 presidential election on the promise of “carrying
on” with the deceased president’s legacy.
