The long standing complaint by Teachers over contents in MK publishers school books has reached a higher height.
Teachers on several counts have tipped WestMac Media that content in MK books have a lot of mistakes and looks as if they were not thoroughly edited adding that even primary 'Lets Do SDS' by Oxford has errors too.
Teacher further laments that the syllabus and these books are different in content.
Some teachers suggests that the books in question contain misleading information which could be attributed to poor performance of pupils ever since they were introduced in schools.
Teachers further points that Longman, ZBEC and Progress books were and are still far better than MK books. alluding that
Some teachers have since been wondering
whether these books did not pass through a pilot stage or that stage was compromised.
Meanwhile, teachers have since appealed to Teaching Service Commission to either revise the books in question or withdraw them from schools and possibly investigate the merit of contract binding these books.
