President Edgar Lungu with his Indian counterpart Ram Nath Kovind have
launched the Lusaka Road Decongestion Project.
The project is anticipated to change the landscape of Lusaka for the good of the
majority, in the next three years.
And atleast 1,600 Zambians with different skills will be employed by the contractor Afcons in Africa.
The project will involve among others
the construction of 91 kilometre roads, four flyovers and bus stations at cost of 289 million Dollars facilitated by EXIM
Bank of India.
Zambia will contribute 15 percent of the money.
