The University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in partnership with Novo Nordisk have opened the first ever Haemophilia Centre at the hospital.
And Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary for Training Elwyn Chomba says government is committed to delivering quality health services.
Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk Project Manager Shedy Scedo says 95 percent of haemophilia patients in Zambia are not aware of their illness hence the Centre will strive to create haemophilia awareness.
