Ministry of General Education has urged all parents, guardians and 2015 grade nine pupils not to panic or stress for the inconvenience caused on Monday this week.
Ministry spokesperson, Hilary Chipango
says the computer examinations will not be a compulsory subject to determine qualification to grade 10.
Mr. Chipango says it was not the ministry’s intention for pupils to be writing their computer studies practical exam past midnight.
He adds that this was due to circumstances and challenges beyond the ministry’s control.
The ministry has since apologized to learners for the inconvenience caused on Monday during the computer studies practical exams were grade 9 pupils had to write exam very late in the night due to limited computers and loadshedding in most schools.
