19 Mukuba University students were yesterday arrested by the Police during a peaceful protest that sparked into chaos.
The students attempted to protest against university management decision to bar those who had not paid up to 80% of the required tuition fees.
And a group of students told WestMac Media that it was not their fault that they were born in poor families that struggled to pay for their tuitions fees in-full at once.
The students said their union has been appealing to Government to consider introducing student loans at Mukuba University but no one seem to hear the appeal.
Meanwhile, 19 students who were apprehended at Mindolo Police station have been released by former Mukuba University Student Union (MUKUSU).
