Zambia is among African countries that will benefit from the
44 billion euros allocated by the European Union (EU) to
African Countries to finance bankable projects for youths.
EU Head of Mission to Zambia, Alessandro Mariani says
investing in youths is a precondition for a positive and
sustainable future.
Speaking in Lusaka during an EU-Zambia Partnership Media
Breakfast, Mr. Mariani paid tribute to Zambia for its
contribution to providing peace and security in Central
African Republic.
He further said the forthcoming 5th AU-EU Summit in
Abidjan, Ivory Coast will provide an excellent opportunity to
further strengthen partnerships at a time when there is
profound transformation in Europe and Africa.
Mr. Mariani explained that priorities for the Summit include
stronger political relationships based on a shared vision and
mutual interest.

Mumba has emphasized the need for universal access to
quality education and job creation.
