BBC Media Action is the international development charity
of the BBC. We are looking to recruit Journalism Mentors.
The contract dates are 8th January 2018 until 31st May 2018
with chance of extension dependent on funding.
The overall purpose of the job is to build the capacity of
media partners in the production of governance focused
radio and online programming.
The roles will be based in
Lusaka with frequent travel within Zambia therefore a valid driving license is essential.
Eligibility
• A minimum four years of professional work experience as
an active radio producer and higher education in
journalism, communication or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have strong production and editorial skills.
• Candidates with a proven track record of delivering training
and producing governance programming will be preferred.
• Experience of working within the community/commercial
radio sector and project implementation is an advantage.
