Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo says
importing sex dolls from any country to Zambia is an offense.
Ms Katongo emphasized that it is an offense for any person to take part in the importation, sale or possession of sex dolls.
She said section 177 (1)(b) and Section 177 (1) (c) criminalises taking part in the sale or importation of sex dolls.
Ms Katongo said this when responding to questions from journalist who wanted to know if it was an offense for a person to import a sex doll.
She added that possession of obscene materials in this country is an offense.
Ms Katongo has since urged the public to read section 177 of the Penal code.
She said for importation offense, one can check section 177 (1)(b) and Section 177 (1)(c) which criminalises taking part in such business.
