The Minister of Higher Education Nkandu Luo has given a 14 days ultimatum to the University of Zambia and the Copperbelt University senates to compensate for lost time to the cholera fight.
Professor Luo said the two highest institutions of learning will remain closed for a few more days to pave way for senates to adjust calendars.
The Minister was speaking during a multi sectoral briefing at the Ministry of Education in Lusaka.
And seconding Professors Luo decision during the press briefing were Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya and General Education Minister David Mabumba.
