More than half of the pupils at Mukinge Girls Mission Secondary School in Kasempa district of North-Western
Province have been diagnosed and treated for malaria since schools opened in January this year.
Mukinge Girls Mission Secondary School head teacher Dickson Mtonga said out of 732 pupils, 385 have been treated for malaria.
This came to light when North-Western Province permanent secretary Ephraim Mateyo visited the school following reports of a malaria outbreak at the school.
