A Toyota Corolla Registration Number ABE 608, yesterday in Kasama hit into a Tanzanian registered Volvo truck that was coming from the opposite direction.
And Police spokesperson Charity Munganga Chanda has confirmed that six people in a Corrolla died on the spot.
In a statement made monitored by WM Media, Ms Chanda stated that the accident happened along the Luwingu Kasama road yesterday the 25th of March around 20:30 hours after the driver of the Toyota corolla failed to keep to his lane.
She stated that the deceased who have all been identified were all from the Toyota Corolla.
Ms Chanda added that the driver of the corolla is among the dead.
She stated that the bodies of the deceased are currently lying in Kasama Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem.
