The University of Zambia (UNZA) community has lost yet another future leader in a tragedy incident not long after another student (Brian Makondo) died.
A student only identified as Veronica Ng'ambi died on the spot after she was hit by a speeding vehicle on Saturday night.
Reports made available to WM Media indicate that Veronica was bashed by unidentified vehicle when she was going to her boarding house at Marshalands village.
And a check by WM Media found that she was a third year student pursing a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication.
Veronica is also reported to have been one of the former pupils at Lwitikila Girls Secondary School in Mpika before she proceeded to UNZA.
By press time, efforts to gather more details about who she was with; type of
vehicle, registration number and whera abouts of driver that hit her, proved futile as family members of the deceased were not available to issue a statement.
And the University of Zambia student populace have since expressed their condolences and wished Veronica to 'rest in peace'.
