A female Zambian youth based in Sweden has divided people's opinions after she and her husband published nude studio photos.
Yolanda Sitambuli is an emerging Photographer and Graphic designer who recently relocated to Sweden to seek greener pastures where she is believed to have adopted a western culture.
Before leaving Zambia for Sweden she was an employee of Sheerwood Greene Properties and lived in Mufulira and Lusaka.
When her husband Jonas Engholm published the photos and captioned one as “Its official we're having a baby boy! Estimated due date is 5th of May 2016,” immediately the pictures hit social media they sparked controversy.
Yolanda's pictures have divided people's opinions others saying “its her body and life she can do whatever she wants with it”. On the other side of the heating debate others are saying “its morally wrong for an African woman to publish nude pictures especially of Zambian origin”.
Meanwhile, few months ago a Zambian musician Dambisa Lunda also published her nude studio picture when she was eight months pregnant and her picture appeared on the front page of Exclusive Zambian Magazine. On the picture, Dambisa wore
a Chitenge (wrapper), topless and only covered her breasts.
It is alleged that a while after Dambisa's pictures went viral on social she was divorced by her husband.
