Rainbow Reservoir is a South African based supplier of the highest quality Zincalume® water tanks for liquids or water storage solutions in Africa.

The color option offered by the company involves the application to the reservoir's standard, super quality, Zincalume® coated, structural steel wall plates, of a selected colour, using a colour-fast, powder coating, process, in which the chosen color is factory-baked onto each individual Zincalume® wall plate. 

A TYPICAL UNIT COMPRISES THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS: STEEL PANEL OUTER WALLS. 

Panels are a minimum thickness of 1mm, high quality structural steel plate, hot-dip plated with highly corrosion resistant, Zincalume® alloy, rolled to our engineer designed, strengthening profile and precision punched to facilitate bolting. 

INNER LINER: Tailor-made for each size of reservoir. Made of 750 micron linear low-density polyethylene (reinforced PVC), completely inert, extremely durable and of international food grade quality. Life expectancy: ± 30 years. 

ROOF: Low-dome profile reservoir roofs contribute significantly to the strength, effective storage of potable water and aesthetics of each unit. The sturdy roof structure comprises hot-dip galvanized square tubular steel roof trusses supporting sheets of galvanized corrugated steel. The price of the roof is included in the price of the reservoir. 

FITTINGS: Various standard fittings, ( included in the overall price of each unit), are of exceptional quality and include: 

» A lockable inspection hatch. 

» An externally fitted, galvanized steel inspection ladder. 

» 1 x 50mm outlet complete with ball valve. 

» 1 x 50mm over-flow flange and down pipe. 

NOTE: A range of outlets, inlets, scours, valves and other accessories in a variety of sizes and forms can be supplied and fitted by us according to customer specifications on request. 

RAINBOW RESERVOIRS CARRY A TWELVE YEAR CONDITIONAL WARRANTY AND LINERS ARE OF INTERNATIONAL FOOD GRADE QUALITY. DELIVERY: 

Delivery can be effected anywhere in Southern Africa within approximately eight working days of receipt of order, subject to availability of the unit ordered ex-stock. 

Delivery costs are based on the distance involved from point of origin to site. 

ASSEMBLY: Reservoirs are supplied and transported in modular form. Assembly is a straight forward process covered comprehensively in our step-by-step set of instructions. Either do-it-yourself or use one of our trained and accredited, independent assembly teams (quotations are available on request). 

DURATION OF ASSEMBLY: Depending on the reservoir size, the nature of the site and prevailing circumstances, assembly time taken by one of our teams varies between one and four days for our standard size reservoirs and four to eight days for the larger reservoirs. 

SITE PREPARATION: Customers are recommended to undertake this simple process independently in the interest of saving costs (Rainbow Reservoirs provide a set of easy instructions). However, they are always most willing to undertake this work if the customer prefers them to do so. 

PAYMENT: As a deposit, 60% of the invoiced purchase price, including transportation and any other charges applicable, of each reservoir ordered. The balance is payable upon delivery of an order to site.
