Zambia Telecommunication (ZAMTEL) company through its corporate social responsibility programme is committed to supporting talented young people says Evans Muhanga.
Mr. Muhanga who is ZAMTEL Chief Marketing Officer said this when handing over a cheque worth K240, 000 to Zambia Squash Association (ZSA) for its Junior Development Programme.
He said the donation demonstrates the confidence ZAMTEL has in the ZSA Executive objective of developing vibrant junior programmes across the country.
Acknowledging the donation at Lusaka club ZSA President, Norena Chiteba thanked ZAMTEL for the gesture saying it will go a long way in tapping talent in the remote parts of the country.
And National Sport Council of Zambia Chairman Mwamba Kalenga urged young people in the country to take keen interest in nurturing their talent and desist from engaging in illicit activities.
The Zambia Squash Association is a body that promotes and coordinates the game of Squash in Zambia.
