His Excellency, The sixth President of Zambia Mr Edgar Lungu in his speech during the inauguration ceremony appointed Dr Ngosa Simbyakula with immediate effect as new Minister of Justice.
President Lungu has dissolved late Michael Chilufya's lead cabinet where Dr Simbyakula was serving as Minister of Home Affairs.
Meanwhile, President Lungu has since appointed incumbent London First Secretary for Press and Former Zambia Daily-Mail News Editor Amos Chanda as his Special Assistant-Press and Public Relations.
With immediate effect Chanda has taken over from George Chellah
as new State House Spokesperson.
Before the Late Michael Sata appointed Chanda as First Secreatry for Press in London, he also served as the Deputy Special Assistant-Press and Public Relations.
President Lungu is expected to announce and swear in new Cabinet Ministers on monday.
