The selection of 2015 Women4Africa Awards Uk nominees successfully took place and the successful candidates have since been entered onto the site for public viewing and judging panel to make final decision to which the winners will be announced on the day of the event.
Women4africa is a UK registered organization focused on celebrating and empowering Africa and its women by
supporting and celebrating their role in their communities via Conferences, supporting education and Awarding prestigious awards, recognitions and special honours on such women identified and nominated by the public.
Every year, W4A Awards UK give prestigious awards to deserving women.
On a yearly basis a woman is eligible to enter the ‘ Women4Africa Awards UK’ 2015 if;
• She is resident in the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man and has been so for a period of 12 months before the date of application. (This does not apply to those in the ‘International Category’).
• If she was born on the continent of Africa; or if she is born into an ethnic group or had at least two parents
born into an ethnic group or groups, of African origin.
• A nominee must be older than 18years before or on the nomination deadline.
Among other successful African nominees for the 2015 Awards were Buumba Malambo and Lukwesa Burak from Zambia nominated in International Community Workers Recognition and Media Personality Of The Year Category respectively.
