Absence of Chef, Mampi at campus function prompt UNZA students to protest, destroy event properties

The University of Zambia (UNZA) students yesterday protested at a function hosted at campus main hall upon realizing that Mampi and Chef failed to show up at the event. 

Students damaged properties including a state of the art R&G events stage and a Toyota Canter.

The students said the event did not meet their expectations adding that two artistes did not perform.

Students further told WestMac Media that the banner for the event showed that Chef, Ruff Kid and Mampi would be at the event but only Ruff Kid showed and performed for less than an hour. 

“It was shocking to hear the Master of Ceremony say the event had come to an end before Mampi and Chef performed. This made us express our displeasure in style,” students said.
