Agriculture minister Dora Siliya has arrived in Abidjan, Ivory Coast to launch a campaign for two Zambians seeking senior
posts at the African Union.
“I have just arrived in Abidjan, ivory coast on a three country tour of Ivory Coast, Togo and Burkina Faso as a special
envoy for President Lungu,” she says.
She says Ambassador Austin Sichinga and Ambassador Albert Muchanga will contest position of Commissioner for Rural
Economic and Agriculture and Trade and Industry respectively.
“My mission is to campaign for the position of Commissioner for Rural Economy and Agriculture for Dr Austin Sichinga as well as Ambassador Albert Muchanga for Commissioner Trade and Industry,” says Ms Siliya.
Ms Siliya who is also Petauke Member of Parliaments adds that the elections for the AU positions that Zambians are eyeing will be in January.
