The State has
entered a nolle
prosequi in a
case in which
popular
musician,
Chama Fumba
(Pilato) was
charged with
conduct likely to
cause a breach
of the peace.
When the matter came up on July 13, 2015, before
magistrate Aridah Chulu, the state informed the court that it
was acting on instructions from the Director of Public
Prosecutions' office to enter a nolle.
Magistrate Chulu
subsequently informed the accused of the state's decision.
In the last hearing, the state was at pains to present its
witnesses after announcing intentions to bring a total of ten
witnesses.
