She says her dream for Zambia and Africa as a whole is to alleviate poverty, deal with corruption, issues to do with gender, and issues of weak policies from the government.
Phiri says she feels for girls and women who struggle to get jobs.
“It pains me when I see alot of girls and women failing to get employment because she is coming from a poor family and cannot afford to have money to pay the HR manager to hire her. It is sad that other women and girls are rapped for them to be given a job as a result some of our Zambian girls are lingering in the streets of town.” she says.
