Sir Richard Branson, known worldwide for his diversified enterprises, will be the keynote speaker at the Zambia Investment Conference in lusaka next month. The conference, which is scheduled to take place on 4 to 5 December is a collaboration between Pangaea Securities and the Zambia Development Agency, bringing together some of the world’s most well-known entrepreneurs and Zambian business leaders to share the secrets of their success while inspiring enterprise and
new investments.
Sir Branson is a renowned entrepreneur and founder of the Virgin Group.
As an entrepreneur and business leader, Sir Branson has a global profile that is instantly recognizable and brings into focus the significance of the conference. Sir Branson has a long track record of
business success and the lessons learned from his keynote address will go
some distance in nurturing the enterprise culture of Zambians in different
sectors of the economy.
He co-founded the Virgin Group in 1970, which has since grown to become a multinational branded venture capital conglomerate. Its core business areas are travel, entertainment and lifestyle, and it also manages ventures in financial
services, transport, health care, food and drink, media and telecommunicati
