Graduate Mining Engineer—Ref 1440
Reporting to the Mine Engineering Superintendent, you will assist with
provision of ore and waste production related activities to allow for the efficiepnt, optimal and profitable extraction of ore from the ore bodies.
Your duties will include, but not limited to the following:
-Assisting in ensuring that all the mine personnel comply with site and regulatory safety practices and procedures while promoting a culture of safety and productivity
-Assisting in providing Technical Services for the following:
-Drilling
-Blasting
-Load & Haul
-Dispatch
-Geotechnical Projects
-Providing further assistance where directed by the Mine Engineering
Superintendent or his/her delegate.
To be considered for the position, you should meet the following requirements:
-Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining Engineering.
-Recent graduate or up to one (1) year experience in Mine Engineering
and open cut mining.
-Preferably have or be eligible for a current Zambian / SADC driving
licence
-Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia .
