Minister of Transport and Communication Brian Mushimba says government is planning to reduce the age limit at which a driver can acquire a Public Service Vehicle driver’s license.
The minister says the Roads and Traffic Act will be revised soon to reduce
the age limit of PSV driver’s licence from 25 to 20 years.
He says the move will create more jobs for young people.
Mr. Mushimba adds that government intends to create cooperatives in the transport sector to supervise public sector transport.
He further says government will introduce time bus and dedicated bus lanes to decongest Lusaka central business district.
