Women marketeers in Kitwe have praised Lungu for empowering them with soft Loans under the presidential initiative.
Speaking in Kitwe after Kitwe women staged a solidarity march to thank president Lungu, National Traders and Marketeers Association of Zambia (NATMAZ) chairlady, Lizzie Kaluba said women on the Copperbelt are happy with president Lungu’s decision to empower traders and vendors.
Ms Kaluba said marketeer’s on the Copperbelt are indebted to Mr Lungu for his empowerment.
She pointed that women marketeer’s face many challenges in accessing loans from financial lending institutions because of lack of collateral.
And responding to challenges that women marketeers face, Kitwe district commissioner Chanda Kabwe who is also NATMAZ said Government is committed to empowering women countrywide.
