"HOW DOES TRIBALISM AFFECT NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT?"
The Daily Nation Newspaper is running an essay competition on the above topic.
This competition is part of the Newspapers' effort to promote national unity and the spirit of One Zambia One Nation, as Zambia celebrates its 51st anniversary.
The
competition has two categories of entrants.
» Entrants over the age of 30 will be disqualified.
» All entries must clearly indicate the Name, Age and Sex and institution of learning.
Category 1
Pupils in Grades 10 – 12
Category 2
University and tertiary students from Teveta approved institutions
Rules
1. All essays shall be handwritten and easy to read
2. Essays shall not exceed 600 words
3. All entries must be accompanied by a cut out from the Daily Nation Newspaper No photocopies will be accepted
4. Each participant is only allowed one entry
5. All category 1 entries must bear the official school stamp
6. The Deadline for submission is 16th October 2015
7. Entries without the cutouts are automatically disqualified
8. Entries received after 16th October will not be included in the final selection
9. The winners will be announced on ZNBC television and in the Daily Nation Newspaper
10. Entries are to be deposited at any Zampost once or at any daily nation once
11.The judges decision will be final and Daily Nation will not enter into discussion over the selection of winners.
