And President Edgar Lungu has called on the church to pray for peace and elect leaders who believe in Christ in the
forthcoming polls set for 11th August 2016.
The opening of the textile will be on 1st August this years and will create 2,500 jobs for local people by December, Mr
Lungu announced at a rally in the provincial capital..
President Lungu said there are about 300 people who are currently working in the textile.
The President has also promised to rehabilitate Muleya stadium in Kabwe to soccer lovers in the area.
And PF Bwacha aspiring MP Sydney Mushanga asked the people of Bwacha to vote for PF candidates in the coming
polls.
He said the PF has built schools, clinics, sunk potholes and tarred roads in Makululu and other areas.
And President Lungu has called on the church to pray for peace and elect leaders who believe in Christ in the forthcoming polls set for 11th August 2016.
The President said the church should not lose sight of Christ in whatever they do.
President said the church should choose politicians who embrace peace which he said is cardinal for the stability of the country.
He said the country and all the politicians count in the church for guidance and prayers.
The Head of State was speaking at Kabwe Central Seventh Day Adventist Church where he attended a church service before going for political campaigns in Kabwe district.
Earlier the President visited the family of the deceased Catholic Church priest Father Stephen Mwewa who died this week.
The President met the bereaved family at St Monica parish in Kabwe and conveyed his message of condolences to the family and the church.
He said the death of father Mwewa has not only affected the catholic Church and the family but the entire nation as he
was a worker if Good.
He encouraged the bereaved family to stand strong and continue believing in God.
And family representative Gabriel Mwami thanked the President for taking time to mourn with the family and the Catholic Church in general.
