Matero Member of Parliament, Miles Sampa has said he intends to strengthen the Patriotic Front (PF) with a specialized focus on the youths and grassroots.
Confirming his resignation, Mr. Sampa said he is still a committed member of PF.
“I remain a committed member of the Patriotic Front (PF). It is my desire and intention to be able to join hands to strengthen the PF party with a specialized focus on the youths and grassroots. I intend to focus on serving my constituents to the best of my ability, as well as strengthening party relations nationwide,” he said.
On October 29th Mr. Sampa resigned from his position in government as Deputy Minister of Commerce Trade and Industry.
Mr. Sampa has since made it clear that he has no intentions of forming a political party.
“I am not forming a political party and neither am I in talks with any opposition leaders. Any media releases to this effect should be disregarded, considered false and completely unfounded.” he clarifies.
