Government has recruited a total number of 4450 teacher’s country wide.
Ministry of General Education released and published the long awaited for list of successful applicants for 2015 teacher’s recruitment in Zambia Daily Mail newspaper on Saturday.
Apparently most of the applicants wanted to have their own copy - a situation that lead to a fast sell of yesterday’s Zambia Daily Mail paper and before 10 'O' Clock the paper finished in most of the places as compared to other days.
And Zambia National Union of Teachers (ZNUT) general-secretary Newman Bubala said the union is impressed at the number of teachers who have been recruited and deployed.
Meanwhile, Basic Education Teachers Union of Zambia (BETUZ) general -secretary Geoffrey Simuntala has urged newly recruited teachers to take up positions wherever they have been posted.
