A youthful Kabushi Constituency aspiring candidate, Bowman Lusambo has assured Ndola Main Marketeers a better sanitation once voted into office.
Mr. Lusambo who is MMD National Youth Chairman said once voted into office all Kabushi constituency sanitation challenges will be sorted out.
On Wednesday, Mr. Lusambo visited Ndola Main Market to acquaint himself with challenges that residents of Kabushi constituency face.
He said public toilet blocks at Main Market will be refurbished and a borehole will be put up.
Mr. Lusambo also said once the public toilets are refurbished, users will only be paying a fee of 50 ngwee to use the facilities.
He said the money realized from ‘toilet fees’ will be used to buy ‘tissue’ for hygiene purposes.
Meanwhile, Marketeers and residents of Main Market and Masala Township respectively told WM Media that the incumbent Member of Parliament, Ms. Dorothy Kazunga spends most of her time in Lusaka instead of developing her constituency adding that the state of sanitation in the constituency is very bad.
