Muslims condemn violence, lauds Lungu

Makeni Islamic Society Trust Head Dawah Huzaifa Jada has urged Zambians to denounce any forms of violence being perpetrate some political elements in its strongest term ever. 

And Mr. Jada has appealed to leaders and followers of various faiths based movements to promote national building with messages of peace, unity and reconciliation. 

Speaking in an interview Mr. Jada also appealed to other political leaders to emulate President Edgar Lungu who continuously denounced violence not only in the ruling party but also outside the party. 

He adds that religious leaders have a duty to guide the Zambian people to remain united behind cherished values of peaceful and co-existence.
