Youth For Transparency and Integrity has called on government to ensure that there is accountability and transparency in the distribution of funds under newly launched Youth skills development and entrepreneurship project.
Recently, Government launched US$30 million worth “Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Project-Supporting
Women and Youth (SDEP-SWY)” funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB), which will be implemented by the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC).
YTI Acting Executive Director Ndembela Daka says there is need to ensure that funds are utilized or the intended purpose.
Meanwhile Mr Daka has called on government to desist from politicizing on the project.
He says there is need ensure that the intended beneficiaries benefit from the project rather political support been
beneficiaries.
