The Forum for Democracy and Development party (FDD) says it will give farmers free farming inputs for three years once it forms government after 11 August general election.
FDD Leader Edith Nawakwi says small scale farmers have for a long time suffered to access farming inputs at a high price.
She says her party has clear policies on how it will enhance the agriculture sector in the country so that it becomes a major contributor to the Zambia’s economy.
Meanwhile, the opposition leader has dismissed as rumors that it wants to form an alliance with Patriotic Front PF in case of a re-run after 11 August general election.
