Massawe from Tanzania says as UN Women they support projects promoting women’s economic empowerment and to end violence against women and girls.

“Working with the UN to promote women’s rights and gender equality is a dream come true. Through working in gender equality, women’s empowerment and human rights I see the impact of our work at the grass roots level and at the policy level, such as giving a voice to women and increasing the number of women in leadership and decision making. As UN Women, we have supported the women’s movement in learning best practices and coordination of advocacy initiatives on women’s rights and gender equality. We also support projects promoting women’s economic empowerment and to end violence against women and girls.” she says.
