Ministry of Higher Education has sourced for 22 million kwacha to add a further 400 Copperbelt University students on loan scheme thereby increasing the number of beneficiaries from two thousand nine hundred.
And Minister of Higher Education Nkandu Luo says her ministry sourced for funds in response to the four hundred students who appealed after they were left out.
Professor Luo confirms that the ministry gave two thousand five hundred students but about five hundred who were left out appealed to my office.
“I can confirm that the ministry
has started screening the Copperbelt University students at riverside campus to ensure the right one's receive the loans,” she indicates.
