Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) Chief Executive Officer Chipego Zulu says the manufacturing sector wants to see a Nation Budget that will support the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
“The Manufacturing sector expects to see a national budget that will address issues on taxes for 2019,” says Mrs Zulu.
Mrs Zulu notes that government’s plans to start the 2019 national budget stakeholders consultative meeting early are
a positive development.
She has since said it is good that budget consultation meetings will involve all the ten provinces for the country’s quest for
long-term growth.
