The government has reiterated its continued support to the local film industry.
Speaking during the official opening of Ster – Kinekor cinema at Manda hill in Lusaka last evening, chief government
spokesperson Kampamba Mulenga said the government wants the industry to grow and create jobs for the people of Zambia.
She explained that the introduction of the film policy is a clear demonstration of its commitment to the film industry.
Speaking at the same event, Ster – Kinekor Group Chief Executive Officer, Wanda Matandela called on various stakeholders to partner with the company in the promotion of local content.
