Eighty nine children of George Compound have been admitted to the University Teaching Hospital after attending a birthday party where they allegedly ate poisoned food.
According to University Teaching Hospital Public Relations Manager Mwenya Mulenga 50 of the 89 had since been discharged after receiving treatment.
He said the children were aged between five and seventeen years."
